Welcome
Want to get away from it all and caravan in the peace and quiet in the Wiltshire countryside?
Visit Rowmead Caravan site which is located in Wiltshire, three miles from Westbury and one mile from the village of Bratton. It is a
Camping and Caravanning club
'Certificated Site'
which provides you with a place to caravan when you really want to get away from it all.
It is situated within a 4.3 acre field in a picturesque location one mile as the crow flies
from the Westbury White horse hill. You can frequently see hang gliders and para gliders sailing off this hill.
The site is on well kept grassland surrounded by an extensive hedge and trees.
Should you not wish to set up on the grass, hard standing accommodates two caravans.
There is a mains water supply, chemical disposal and mains electric. There are no toilets or showers.
If you wish to caravan in a peaceful location in Wiltshire, you would enjoy the site. We welcome club rallies.
It is particularly suitable as a base for hang gliding or flying model aeroplanes off Westbury White Horse,
or mountain biking / horse riding around Salisbury Plain. A little further away there are fishing lakes and the cities of Bath (18m)
and Salisbury (22m) are within easy reach.
